Securing a Fast-Moving Build Near Logan High
Early one foggy March morning, a general contractor called us stressed—their site just east of James Logan High School had no perimeter security after weekend demo work. With students walking by daily and equipment stored onsite, they needed something up before sunrise. The narrow access lane and soft clay soil from recent rain made installation tricky, and they couldn’t afford delays with inspections scheduled in 48 hours.
We rolled in with our Alameda-branded panels and ground sleeves by 6 a.m., using compact equipment to avoid damaging the adjacent sidewalk. Our crew anchored each section into the damp soil with extra stakes for stability, completing 320 linear feet in under two hours. The contractor passed inspection on time and kept their subs working without disruption.
They showed up before dawn and had us locked down by breakfast—I slept easy that night.
